The World Food Travel Association is pleased to announce our newest certified ambassador, Chef Dela Acolatse, based in Accra, Ghana.
Dela Kwami Acolatse, known professionally as Chef Dela, is a Ghanaian chef, visual artist, and founder of Tastetimonials, a culinary platform that blends food with culture and storytelling. A Computer Science graduate from Ashesi University, he transitioned into the culinary world to spotlight West African ingredients, flavors, and traditions on global stages. He has represented Ghana at renowned international festivals and curated immersive dining experiences across Africa. In 2023, Chef Dela proudly showcased Ghanaian cuisine at the prestigious Churrascada Barbecue Festival in São Paulo, Brazil. Through Tastetimonials, he creates transformative food experiences that connect people, heritage, and place.
