In Loving Memory and with Deep Gratitude: Honoring Brian F. Lorge
It is with heavy hearts that we remember and honor Brian F. Lorge, whose leadership, dedication, and compassionate spirit enriched our Association's Board of Directors and our lives from 2011 to 2020.
Brian was more than a board member. He was a friend, a mentor, and a steady guiding presence during times of change. Over nearly a decade of service, he brought integrity, vision, and a resolute commitment to excellence. His contributions were not merely in the meetings he attended or the decisions he helped shape; they were in the thoughtful way he listened, the respectful manner in which he challenged us, and the warmth with which he treated every individual he encountered.
We are deeply grateful for:

• His wisdom and foresight, which helped guide our organization through both challenges and opportunities.
• His generosity of time, always ready to stay longer, offer counsel, or lend his support wherever needed.
• His collegial spirit, fostering collaboration, encouraging diverse perspectives, and building bridges among members.
• His personal kindness, remembering names, checking in on colleagues, and offering encouragement in both professional and personal moments. Brian’s legacy is woven into the very fabric of our organization - in policies we now take for granted, in the culture of respect and accountability he helped nurture, and in the countless individuals who were inspired by his example.
  To Brian’s family, we offer our deepest condolences. We are honored to have walked beside him and will forever carry forward his standards, his kindness, and his dedication.
  May we all strive to reflect the integrity and compassion Brian showed us. His memory lives on in the work we do, the lives we touch, and the respect we show one another.
